However, they are written mostly in a narrative style, telling a story of how he discovered & developed the methods, or how he applied them to specific problems. This is an excellent way to learn the methods, but tends to leave information scattered across multiple chapters. This encyclopedia collects these into a single page for handy reference, with links back to the source material.
