Mr. Wardley’s book and blog are the primary source material for this blog. However, they are written mostly in a narrative style, telling a story of how he discovered & developed the methods, or how he applied them to specific problems.  This is an excellent way to learn the methods, but tends to leave information scattered across multiple chapters.  For example, there are 64 types of strategic moves, each with prerequisites and techniques. This encyclopedia collects these into a single page for handy reference, with links back to the source material.

Welcome to Wardleypedia,
the free strategy encyclopedia that anyone can edit.
There are currently 52 articles. With your help, this number grows every day.

Mr. Wardley’s book and blog are the primary source material for this blog. However, they are written mostly in a narrative style, telling a story of how he discovered & developed the methods, or how he applied them to specific problems. This is an excellent way to learn the methods, but tends to leave information scattered across multiple chapters. For example, there are 63 types of strategic moves, each with prerequisites and techniques. This encyclopedia collects these into a single page for handy reference, with links back to the source material.

How can I participate in building this encyclopedia?
  • What if I don't know anything about Wardley Mapping or Strategy?
  • What if I am just learning about Wardley Mapping, but am not an expert?
  • What if I don't know anything about web programming or wikis?
Where can I get a good introduction to Wardley Mapping?
